History

Sri Swetaranyeswarar is Shiva as Bhuda or Mercury. It is one of the Navagraha Sthalas. The Lord Bhuda faces North East direction.Among nine planets Budhan is thought to bestow wisdom and intellect. Budha or Mercury is seen as the finest among the wise. This location is similar to Kasi including all the Snana Ghats. One can accomplish all the karmas here, that is intended to be done in kasi.
